2012 Bantam Jeep Festival

Hey all you Jeepers! Check this out!

Dear Jeep Club Members:

It's hard to believe the inaugural Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival was just three months ago!  Our Planning Committee and partners spent two years planning the event and the response we received was overwhelming!  If you haven't heard, 1,106 Jeeps participated in the parade to attempt a Guinness World Record, an estimated 35,000 people came to Downtown Butler to see the Jeeps and more than 20,000 people make their way to the Big Butler Fairgrounds to enjoy all of the Festival activities.  It was an exciting time, we've received tremendous feedback and we can't wait to do it all over again!

We\'re excited to tell you that we have finalized the dates for our 2012 Festival.  The event will be August 10-12, 2012.  We hope you\'ll mark your calendar and consider making plans to join us next year for the fun weekend we are planning in Butler, Pa., birthplace of the world's original jeep.

Our Planning Committee has been very busy the past two months working on the details for our 2012 event.  We are just starting to rebuild our web site http://www.bantamjeepfestival.com/ for the 2012 event, and we hope to have new information posted in the next few weeks.  Next, we plan to have registration on line shortly after that so be sure to keep checking your email and Facebookhttp://www.facebook.com/pages/Bantam-Jeep-Heritage-Festival/171755302841044 for updates.

New Video of 2011 Festival Available for Purchase

We also wanted to let you know that we have just completed a new video featuring the 2011 Festival.  The video includes a five-minute overview of the entire event, Armstrong's Faces & Places television show featuring the event and including interviews from various participants, and footage of the entire Jeep Parade as the Jeeps began their three-mile drive.  More details are available in our on line Storehttp://www.bantamjeepfestival.com/store/.  All proceeds from the video will be deposited into a special account that has been established to preserve Bantam heritage.  Remember, these videos will make great Christmas gifts!
